I've been performing since I was 8yrs old, with an auspicious beginning as a Munchkin at the RSC, which made my return to the RSC in 2015/2016 all the sweeter - I played the Cardinal of Lorraine in Maria Aberg's Dr Faustus, and Teresa Panza opposited Rufus Hound, in Angus Jackson's Don Quixote. We then transferred Dr Faustus to the Barbican in October 2016, and we await, with bated breath, the possibility of a West End transfer for Don Quixote.....

I trained at LAMDA, after doing a BA Hons in English at Kings College, London.

I've spent the last few years doing mostly stand up and improv. After an impulse decision to do an Amused Moose Comedy course in 2008, I began gigging and working on material. I plunged straight in with a One Woman Show at Edinburgh Festival 2010 called Get Laid or Die Trying. The reviews were rather nice. I went back in 2011 with another, this time about breasts, called Double G, and a midnight Celebrity Chatshow on a blow up bed.

Since I began stand-up, I've clocked up over 250 gigs and counting, and I've reached the semi-finals of the Funny Women Awards, the New Act of The Year (Leicester Square Theatre) Awards, and the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year twice!

I also re-discovered Improv in 2011. I performed with a Musical Improv troupe called Red Lorry Yellow Lorry until 2014, and I've trained under David Shore of Monkey Toast, and on weekenders/Improv Festivals by The Maydays, and the IO London Improv Intensive in 2013 with Jet Eveleth, which was a revelation.

I also host the odd cabaret show or guest on my friend's shows, and I continue to sing, training up until recently with the late Gareth Roberts from RAM. I like to keep training and learning new skills - I'm renewing my Bouffon at Easter, and aiming to do some physical theatre before 2017 is out!
